milled leather

Milled leather or commonly referred to as milled leather is leather that is treated with a drum that is rotated at high RPM without the addition of water. This leather tanning process produces leather characteristics that are relatively wrinkled like orange peel, which adds a unique impression to the surface of the leather. The results of this tanning leather can be embossed to emphasize the unique wrinkles on the leather surface or without embossing at all so as to produce natural milled leather wrinkles like orange peel motifs. This leather is formed naturally due to the high RPM milling process. The finishing of the leather produced in this tannery is using oil or oil, so that on the surface of the tanned leather it looks shiny, luminous and beautifies the appearance. The leather will look glossy because it contains wax and oil.
